If you already have a hangover, you are pretty much screwed. Take an Advil and drink water.
If you want to avoid a hangover:
1. Mix in a few waters while drinking.
2. Eat something high in carbs before going to bed.
3. Take 2 Advils (ibuprofen). Not aspirin, not Tylenol.
4. Drink a glass of water.
5. Drink another glass of water.
6. Drink another glass of water.
Works every time if you don't cheat on the water. Hangovers are all about dehydration and not getting the alcohol through your system.

If you drink too much you WILL hurt the next day... BUT they did a trial of hangover cure on the TV: best result were 2 paracetamols(painkillers) with a Gatorade before to go to bed... Or have a drink of water between each drink

My ritual is burnt toast, a multi-vitamin and lots of water before bed.
Here's why:
The carbon from the burnt outside acts as a filter to help sweep away toxins. (They use the same idea for victims of alcohol poisoning in the emergency room, except those people get a much more potent carbon mixture pumped into their stomachs.)
The bread helps to absorb some of the alcohol.
The multi-vitamin helps replenish vitamins A, B6, C, potassium, and others which are lost during alcohol metabolism.
The large quantity of water, necessary to down the vitamin and get the burnt taste out of your mouth anyway, helps with the dehydration.
You actually fight the three major causes of a hangover with this: acetaldehyde (the toxic by-product of alcohol metabolism), dehydration and nutrient depletion.
Cheers!

As I have typed in the past, the best way to cure a hangover is to
prevent it. Eat a full course meal, drink water then start drinking.
Listen to your body,it will tell you your limit. When you reach it
and want to drink more or folks keep buying you drinks, eat more
food (something greasy and with bread) and drink water.

another beer, lol. just kidding. Try taking 2 tylenol before going to bed on the night you have had a few 2 many. this seems to help keep the throbbing headache from being so bad, dont do much for the yucky feeling in the gut though. lol

drink a large glass of water, take 2 advil and 1 vitamin c before you go to bed if you remember, also try drinking some water before you go out that way you rehydrate your body before you dehydrate it. drinking gatorade the next day also helps recover from a hangover

The only thing that's ever helped me is sleeping and drinking coffee and water. Lots of water. But I hear all sorts of things.
Some people say Bloody Mary's do the trick, hair of the dog you know. That's pretty much what they were made for, but I don't know if it will work for you or not. I hear different things about them.

When I drink too much wine, I have another glass the following morning (weekends only). It gets my head right until time takes over. I heard this works for beer also.

Bitters and soda.I manage one of the oldest bars in L.A,Barneys Beanery. This is old school and will either make you throw up and you'll feel better or make you crave steak and runny eggs with toast.Good luck and don't drive 'til you get a good rest.
