Well, since it is mostly corn, you will feed a lot more of it than you would a good quality food.
Also keep in mind that Goldens are prone to hip and other orthopedic problems, so you do not want to feed a regular puppy for for very long. By 4 months thay should be on a high quality Lage Breed Adult food.
You feed enough to maintain a good body weight, you want to EASILY be able to feel the ribs, but not see them.
At least try Iams if you are not going to go to the supply store and get something better.
And do NOT put too much stock in the chart on the bag. It does not take into account breed or activity level!! According to the food bag, my 3 month old, 40 pound puppy should be eating almost 8 cups of food daily. He eats 4. The chart is JUST A GUIDELINE!!!!! Whan in doubt, ask the vet if the dog is too fat or too thin.

It's always good to look at the bag so you will know for sure on how much to feed your puppy and you should feed that kind of dog food until they are two years of age,I feed my dogs a bowl a day and always put fresh food down as it will go bad after 24-48 hrs and always have fresh water too i hope i have helped you with your question.

Well you should feed your dog twice a day! Once in the morning and once at night. So...I would say maybe a small cearial bowl size! Or just go to a pet store! You can buy bowls there and people can help you find the right size! Just my thoughts though!
