My sister is a barber. She says to get a straightner or your could blow dry it strait. She says use a brush with a round head and metal base. Once you blow it strait it will have lots of bounce. Good Luck

Stop washing it. You're drying it out. That's the first point. Secondly, go to the store and look for hair products that reduce frizz. I have to do this with my hair when I get it permed or else a body wave looks like a poodle clip too. At present I've been using TRESemme Touchable Curls and Herbal Essences Totally Twisted. The first relaxes the curls and the second helps to define them. In the end it's a much more tolerable look. But look around because there are quite a few products on the market.

Don't cut it. That will only make it shorter and curlier. Wait at least a week before you do anything. Perms usually loosen up after a week or two. If it is still to curly for you, then you can either get it straightened with another perm or there is a professional straightener called manetamer. It will take out the perm and your hair will feel unbelievably soft. But you might like your perm in a week or two. Good Luck!

Well I honestly dont know cuz I've never had a perm. But if you just got it on Friday, then go back to the place where you got it done, and ask the professionals that did it. Umm you washed it 4 times?? I think maybe thats why it got kinda messy, but did you make sure at least if the shampoo was for permed/colored hair. Glad the conditior worked, but definitely see a hair dresser or a professional.
Good Luck =)

There is a conditioner out there called Kolesterol. This is a very thick conditioner (almost like lard). Take this at night and work it through your hair. The don't rinse place a plastic bag on your head & sleep with this on all night long. Wash & Rinse it out in the morning. Do this every other night for a week. THis should help control the damage done to your hair. Then if it is still too curly for you, your hair should be able do handle and other chemical process you may want done (i.e. straghteners).

Don't cut anything off. Just put your hair up for a while - a few weeks and it will calm down and will probably look pretty good.
My perms have always been crazy the first couple of weeks, but look great as they loosen up some.

Just get a good spray stay in conditioner.
In a week you'll see a little difference.
Otherwise, your perm will last alittle longer
since it is very curly. Enjoy it for about a
month and than get it cut. Unless you
really hate it go back to your hair stylest and
let her know you want something done, since
it is to curly.

You can get a very gentle straightener. In the directions it'll tell you to comb your hair very straight. But instead, just comb it so that the curls relax. Then, when you're done, you'll have your body wave. Next time, make sure the stylist uses waving rods, not curl rods. The same thing happened to me when I was 18.

if you want it straight again put a perms solution on it it will help calm down your hair and a good way to make it go curly with out getting a perm use egg whites and sugar mix it with a blender and then scrunch it and blow dry it it stinks but you can always put perfume on your hair to make it smell better
