I dont hate black people but I have noticed that it seems that the majority of violent crimes on the news involve black people. I cant stand it when a black person says that white people owe them because of slavery. I never owned a slave and neither has anyone living now, and no one living now has ever been a slave. If you really look back at the roots of slavery, much of the slaves that were brought to America were sold to Americans by Africans. So I dont feel whites owe black people anything. If we owe any race anything it is the Native Americans. We stole their land, no matter what color you paint it.

I don't think there's a lot of hate, really, but there's a lot of confusion as to what's really going on, and that has a lot to do with the special preferences and stuff that we've had in place for decades.

If your skin color didn't get you something special in america, there'd be no clamoring over your ethnicity. Since there does seem to be a big special preference thing, hence all the commotion. That doesn't sound like true equality to me, which is ostensibly the goal of all of this. What it's devolved into is the Mother Of All Welfare Programs, which is now literally bleeding our country to death. I think it's idiotic to carry on as we have, I think when you start handing out 'free' money, you build false values. Have you always worked to support yourself? If so, what do you think about welfare programs?

Not every white person acts like Archie Bunker and not every black person acts like George Jefferson.

Come on, in recent years we have made great strides in exchanging cultural icons between blacks and whites. For example, black people gave white people Michael Jackson. Years later white people gave black people Michael Jackson.

Both sides are working on this issue

My answer. I was raised by a broad minded parent who judged people on character and rarely on race. I was very hard headed but that is one trait he passed on with fantastic results. It will also be his legacy. I have instilled that in my child and I have no doubt she will also pass the incredible trait along. What an amazing resume he will have when he enters Heavens gates......

i don't know i never thought too much about it until i visited the south and rode a bus...while on the bus, being the only white person, some teenagers sang a song to me about how much they hate white people and they want to kill us...after that i bought a car...

Ah yes the universal question.......Why does racism exist.....heres the answer........People are scared of what they do not understand...This feeling spawns jealousy and hatred.
