my computer came with 2 compartments for discs one for dvd to run and play copy and record now here is my question.
i can not watch DVD movies on my dvd compartment it tells me it needs to be decoded and i dont understand what to do nor what the message mean! what a decoder upgrade or how to install it??
my system is a Microsoft office 2000 professional!
In layman terms can someone explain what's the problem? how to correct the problem? Oh it plays music Cd's with no problem!

ur system is a microsoft office 2000.....or is it a microsoft windows 2000....any way..
the decoder for playing a dvd is not included in the os by default..
so u have to install the decoder or any program that comes with the decoder..
u can install power dvd...
