I'm guessing you are talking about religion...
Finding the right religion may be hard. Sometimes I feel overwhelmed with all the concepts out there. Here, I'll help you along... Christianity. Go to a nice little non-denominational church.
Stick with the people that you feel best around. Not best as in 'I feel good to be in this little clique' kinda good.. but just a peaceful kinda good. When you have found the right path, you'll know for sure. Your life will change! Look at the people and see if they are people that have changed for the better because of their religion.
Look for change, peace...
I know a man who did drugs and almost shot a man but now meeting him you'd never know he had been that way....
Good luck. Hang in there. :)

Try the one you were born with; your own heart and soul and be an idividual. Most religions will ask you to give up your mind and follow the pack "on faith". Then you only become a sheep and will probably gullably follow any leader off a cliff, or into war, hate crimes, blind discrimination etc. Most of all skip the fundamentalist religions, you know the ones; Evangelical Christianity, radical Islamism, etc. Becoming "born -agian" usually translates into "soul murder". You don't need that, you need your mind, critical thinking abilities, to learn to feel comfortable in a world without black and white answers to everything. Get comfortable in learning to love yourself as you are, loving your neighbor, exploring life with courage, and living with diversity.

start with getting the strength... the Lord giveth power and strength, He makes our ways perfect! Jeremiah 33:3 "Call unto me and I will anser thee and shew thee great and mighty things which thou knowest not".
The bible says, if you must answer, answer only with either yes or no, any answers aside from them (like maybe or im not sure) is not of the Lord...
Yes there are many paths, but do you really have to take all of them? choose one path, and make sure you choose the right one, else you fall into damnation...don't waste your strength trying to take all those paths, have one direction in life...if you do this, you will never get lost...=)
heres another chapter in the old testament its one of my favorites...
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
1 ¶ To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
GOD BLESS...
1 Corinthians 10:31 " Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God"

If you are lost the way to find your path is to pray to God for guidance and then be ready to listen. He has a plan for your life and will give you the strength you need.
A simple prayer from www.beliefnet.com:
Father Mychal's Prayer (for guidance)
Lord, take me where You want me to go;
Let me meet who You want me to meet;
Tell me what You want me to say, and
Keep me out of Your way.
Father Mychal F. Judge, OFM
And one for strength and guidance:
Show Me the Course
Steer the ship of my life, good Lord, to your quiet harbour, where I can be safe from the storms of sin and conflict. Show me the course I should take. Renew in me the gift of discernment, so that I can always see the right direction in which I should go. And give me the strength and the courage to choose the right course, even when the sea is rough and the waves are high, knowing that through enduring hardship and danger in your name we shall find comfort and peace.
Basil of Caesarea (c. 329-379)
I pray you will find the right path. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Sometimes when you're lost it pays to rest a while before choosing a path.
Be kind to yourself as if you're your own best friend. Have the patience to wait for the right time and the right answer.
Sometimes people over analyze and suffer from analysis paralysis. Breathe, enjoy your life and don't stress so much.

"You can enter God's Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose the easy way" (Matthew 7:13).
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide [is] the gate, and broad [is] the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait [is] the gate, and narrow [is] the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
It's not an easy path but you can find strength in Jesus Christ.
Exodus 15:2
The LORD [is] my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he [is] my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him.

Take on the role of a scientist. Take every religion, put them under a microscope, and objectively analyze them. Follow the one that makes sense with logic, science, human intellect, and what we as human naturally incline to, etc. And most of all sincerely ask God for guidance.
