i prefer to take shower at night and flatiron in the morning, i don't like to flatiron while they are still damp because it can cause the hair to brittle. also, when you blow dry and fatiron immediately, that can ruin the hair because of so much heat. so be careful with your hair!!!

Dear Liz,

It's much better to do it all in the morning. If you let it dry naturally, it's going to be harder to staighten it out with the irons. You'll have to wet it again, blow dry straight and the iron. Why do that twice? Use InFusion or other spray on/leave-in conditioner, too. The best product I like to use with the iron is Frizz-Ease by John Frieda. In fact, check this site out for additional products from J.Frieda that works excellent with wavy, curly or frizzy hair. I hope this works.

i shower the night before and straighten it in the morning. i think using a blowdryer and a flat iron one after another will dry out and damage your hair too much. i shower at night, towel dry/air dry my hair, and then straighten it that next morning. =]

Hello, I straighten my hair and from experience it's best to wash it , blow dry then use your flat iron. Looks much better than sleeping on it and then using your flat iron. Use a CHI flat iron. They are the best and well worth the money. You can get one at Trade Secrets for $100. That's the best price. I paid $150 for my first CHI at another store.

It depends on how crazy your hair gets in the morning, but always use a ceramic straightening iron, it saves your hair a lot of damage!!!
