This is all so like my two kids under 10. "I'm right, because I'm older and I'm smarter!" "No, I'm right because I'm smarter!" "NO! I'm right because I called it!"
What do the two sides have in common? Pretty much the fact that they don't yet have the intelligence, wisdom, or experience to know who is right.
Sounds like many of these religious arguments. Only one side is arrogant enough that they think they can explain away God....as if their little brains are anywhere near understanding reality, the universe as a whole, and anything that an omnipotent being would do or not do. The other side just says, "God exists because I know He does and because the Bible says."
The neighsayers need to get off their high horses and realize they haven't a clue as to the hows and whys of life and whether or not God exists. Those that believe need to stop flapping their gums and be shining examples of God's Word and/or Jesus' principles (if they're Christians) through actions that set a shining example. Talk is cheap. SHOW God exists.

There is a God and ALL THE UNRIGHTEOUS will be punished when the Lord comes again. The righteous who are dead will be raised first and will be translated along with the living righteous to heaven.
IMO evolution and the idea of being unselected is total bull. And yeah, you need to calm down and stop using mafia terms. That's not cool!

First, God certainly exists.
Second, not everyone will be punished, for God is just and rewards us with the fruit of our actions.
Third, even if the theory of evolution were true, religiosity is proven to be a trait which aids survival and therefore would not lead to one being 'unselected'.

On a slightly calmer note (lol)... yeah, this is pretty much what I think and what I lie awake worrying about. Jeez.. why is our human race so stupid? We can't make any decisions because we all hate each other and like to argue until we're blue in the face while people are dying every day.
And the people that are killing each other every day are doing it, why? Because of their belief in God. I believe in a God but I'm sure as hell he/she/it didn't intend for people to kill each other to prove who's holiest. Holy ****... I need a tylenol.

The only doom that is coming to anyone is to those who dont believe in God and have not accepted Jesus as their savior. God will not punish us for our sins because Jesus took upon himself the sins of the world when he was on the cross and died for us.
