I have two kittens that are 9 weeks old. I live on a farm and it has a lot of other wild cats around including the kittens mother. I am currently trying to train them to stay around my house and not become a part of the other wild cats. The thing is i recently went on vacation for a week so i left them with my aunt linda who lives next to me on my farm, and now the kittens are running everywhere, not staying in my area, and i cant catch them, they usually are really good in staying in the area. I have kept feeding them, and they still are doing this. I really need some ideas of what to do, since i dont have a lot of time to go and buy something, please do not answer saying that these are what outside cats will do. Please help..

Either you'll have to teach your kittens to be inside cats, or you'll have to get rid of the wild ones. If you can't yourself, call the Humane Society. Otherwise, there is a very good chance that your kittens will go feral. By the way, I have known dogs and cats who could live together quite happily.

Get a string, hang it from a tree limb or something close to the house and tie something for them to swat at. They will draw near to play with it. They will sense the love you have for them and come when you are home. Put water out near the house so they will stay. Don't leave food out all the time. Other animals will eat it. Be there when they eat. Soon they will be back to the way they were.

Rent a small trap an put them in a cage for a week or two until they got use to being close to the house.
