God can not sin because he doesn't exist. If one doesn't exist one can not act on the universe. If one can not act on the universe one can not cause an effect. If sin is defined as acting in a way that is morally incorrect, and morals have their basis in causality, then one who cannot create a causal situation can not act immorally. Therefore God cannot sin.

It's a compromizse.

God can't sin... Christians say that all the time.

No offense, but your syllogism does not even make sense. You are trying to prove that something (God) has a quality (sinlessness) by means of a premise which negates the possibility of it's existence in the first place.

Your entire statement can be simplified as "God does not exist, and so cannot sin". Why you chose to include so much unnecessary babbling and stating of the obvious is beyond me. Your entire argument is "God does not exist". I have no idea what made you think that would please both sides. But I respond as such: we do not know that he does exist, and we do not know that he doesn't. Anyone who tells you otherwise is ignorant or a liar.

Re: Additional details

It is not a compromise. You are saying God does not exist. That is atheism. For god's sake (no pun intended), get a brain in that head of yours before you make an attempt at philosophy.

Atoms exist in all things and have moving action, even though we cannot see them with the naked eye without high-powered microscopes. Now I'm sure if you, and I, were living in a age before such microscopes were invented you would be the one to say "Atoms do-not exist ". However today we know they do exist. Friend, just because you say " God dose not exist " dose not make it so.Please do a little more research before making such claims the BIBLE is full of scientific information that we have only recently acknowledged - INCLUDING ATOMS - HEB 11: 3

Your wording is confusing as hell. Your'e in and out of using God as a noun and a verb and as a Creator of causality and one affected by it.

You probably posted this question as you were originally thinking of it. Your statement is like a blob of clay that hasn't been molded yet. Maybe you should try and refine it a bit and post it again.

i think of it this way: assuming there is a GOD, this being cannot sin because he is GOD, why do we think something is bad, because GOD thinks it is bad, therefore if he thought the same thing good we would have thought so as well. so to recap, GOD cannot sin because he makes the rules.

Okay,

I read the first sentance. Then I read 4 more sentances, each of which repeated the first one.

It would appear that since atheists don't believe in a higher power, atheists don't believe in purpose. Since atheists don't believe in purpose, they do not recall the purpose of their previous sentance.

If God does not exist then I am really not talking to you and you do not exist and I do not exist and no one answering your questions exists.

I agree with everyone else so far- God exists- he is perfect thus he can't sin and we are seperated from him unless we place our faith/life in his son's hand

the first sentence was enough for me, sorry but you're wrong, GOD DOES EXIST, look around you, go to the ocean, watch a baby sleep, you shouldn't need any more proof than that!
