'undocumented workers' is mush-speak. What you've got is people that are in the United States illegally. They're known as 'illegal aliens'. Most of the 'illegal aliens' come from Mexico, and still technically hold Mexican citizenship. So, it's more accurate to address them as 'Mexican citizens'.Until you give up your citizenship in one country, you don't assume the citizenship of another country. 'Undocumented workers' is deliberate mush-speak, intended to blur the issue. Buy a map, better yet buy an atlas, and do a lot of reading. Then, go on the web, and learn about citizenship etc.
I've heard it said many times that a reason for giving illegal aliens(foreign citizens in our country illegally) is because they're not as bad as ____________(insert name of dastardly villain here). Well, I disagree. I think that illegal immigration(the tolerance of people just kind of showing up and doing whatever without regard for US immigration laws) is bad for 2 reasons, the first is that they have no leg to stand on in the event of a real legal problem, and the second is that they're left with the perception that it's ok to break our laws with impunity. If you're doing 80, and everyone's doing 80, does that change the speed limit to 80, or are you all speeding? Questions, questions...but, emigrating to the US illegally, utilizing false ID(which is by itself a crime separate from the immigration crime), um, let's see, loitering, violation of occupancy ordinances, applying for public benefits under false credentials, it doesn't take long until you're into some major money on a major scale. Maybe the initial intent wasn't malicious or criminal, but at the end of the day the impact is felt acutely by cities like Los Angeles, which gave out an estimated 1 billion in benefits to illegal aliens this last year alone.
Your 'undocumented workers' spiel doesn't wash with me. If people want to work in america, there's a process for that called 'getting your green card'.
It is my belief that the vast majority of american citizens would like our 'guests' to get their respective acts together on this one, and acquire such permits and permissions as are lawfully required to work and live in america, or catch the 5:30 back home. Americans don't go to Mexico illegally, and Mexico's laws are way more strict on immigration than ours. Let's see a little reciprocity in the compliance dept., or let's see some people going home. It's not the US taxpayer's job to support any/all comers for all perpetuity, not when the country's going 2 billion further in the hole on a daily basis. Mexico/Mexicans need to work a lot harder to become more self-supporting, self-sufficient, and they need to do it in Mexico, rapidly. No more sob stories, our country gives mexico billions every year in aid, let's start seeing some real results, here. Improve Mexico's infrastructure, get some hospitals, schools built, let's see it. Mexicans are supposed to be 'hard working' right? Ok, well it's hard work building roads and educating your people, taking care of your poor, taking care of pollution, all these other things are 'hard work'. So, let's see the hard workers doing the hard work, or at least an end to the moth-eaten sob stories...and, also, let's see the border fence completed. Legal immigration only, no excuses, no substitutes. America's being played here, by lawyers and worse, and it needs to stop. Oh, also, Mexico needs to discover 'birth control'. Nuff said.

Yars, you need to contact Fox News if you think you heard that. I don't believe it and cannot find it on the internet. However, Fox is responsible to the UCC for all broadcast content.
Good Luck !
