Even though the sun is not as intense, UVA and UVB rays do get through a pose a health hazard. Use a sunscreen that blocks both rays and apply every 20 minutes. Sunscreen should also be used on cloudy days. Studies have shown that today more skin cancer is being detected among teenagers than ever before. Stay safe.

Yes. The sun's ultraviolet radiation (the bad part) is worse between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm. It has to do with how directly it shines through the atmosphere. As it nears the horizon, there is more air for the sun's rays to penetrate and more of the radiation is absorbed as the light rays pass through.

YES. 4pm onwards is already safe. The sun is up at 10am till 3pm, this is the time when the sun rays are in their peak (UVA and UVB) and causing the skin aging or skin cancer so better get SPF 30 above sunblok if you intend to go out. Hope this helps. God bless!
