I'm looking to get a big dog, used to have a rottwieler, best dog ever.

I personally like the Labrador.
I have one, they are so smart. They are really good,quiet, and well behaved dogs. You should read up on one. Well she's almost on her way out unfortunetly about 11 years old. But I think they are the most happiest dogs ever.

We have 2 Standard Poodles and they are just about the smartest dog I have ever seen. Our male weighs about 80 pounds and the female is around 70. The great thing about them is that they do not shed, so if you have any allergies they are wonderful. They don't smell bad either. They are wonderful watch dogs....our meter reader is scared to death of them. This suits me fine, as we live in a rural area. Check into them.

My favorite breeds are mainly small dogs, but as far as big dogs go, I like Boxers, Rotties, and Dobes. Dobermans are very sweet (unless owned by the wrong person), but can jump out of your yard with a six foot fence easy! (trust me).

I've got a golden retriever and I've got a mutt with so many different breeds in her I don't even know where to start but they're both great dogs.

Corn dogs (followed by hot dogs). At least they serve a useful purpose in life!

Great Pyrennees are good herder dogs and family protectors, but they need an area to run. I also like Alaskan Malamutes (look like wolves).

if u want a big dog i would suggest a saint bernard. they are very cute when they are puppys and they grow to get very big but still lovable and cute! ^-^ that is 1 of my favorites. my other is a pug! i love them so much! i like their noses and the fact that they stay little! ^-^ hope i helped!
