As an Occultist I can tell you with absolute certainty there is an afterlife. Your fathers last breath was to wish you a blessing of happiness and joy. Even though your eyes can not see him, know he stands as your guardian until you join him on the other side. He enjoys seeing you happy and prays it continues on. He looks forward to watching your achievement and ambitions. To watch you learn and understand the truth as it is to you. Every time you say or do something he tought you, his pride in you is unmeasurable. You have the love of your father within you always. Travel in peace knowing he watches and protects you.

We believe in Paradise and Hell. Paradise is the abode of enjoyment which God, the Exalted, prepared for the righteous. The blessing they enjoy there, no eye has ever seen, no ear has ever heard of, and no human being has ever imagined: "No soul knows what comfort is kept hidden for them, as a reward for that which they used to do." (32:17) Hell is the abode of punishment which God has prepared for the unbelievers and the evildoers. The torture and horror in it cannot be imagined

without it, God would not be the Just and Wise and merciful God He is. God created men and made them responsible for their actions; some behaved well but others did not. If there is no future life in which the virtuous are rewarded and the vicious are punished, there would be no justice and the creation of men in that way and the sending of Prophets to them would be to no purpose at all. But this kind of behaviour is not expected of a man known to be rational and just, let alone the Perfect Creator.

Without belief in this Day on which everyone will receive his just deserts (when the wrongdoers are justly punished and the righteous are rewarded bountifully), man would lose the impetus to behave fairly towards others and the oppressed would grow hopeless and miserable.

Belief in the Hereafter is an essential element that helps to control human delinquency and establish collective happiness and virtues in society.

I believe that when a person dies, he/she will go wherever their personal faith dictates. Personally, I believe in reincarnation and Karma. I believe that I face the results of my actions, for better or worse, in this life and the next. I believe there is a place where I will go in between lives, where I will feel at peace and able to reflect on my past lives before going on to the next.

I am sure your dad loves you and misses you very much, and he is happy and at peace.

I believe in reincarnation.

Approximately 12 days after death, the Soul begins the rebirth process. After that, it makes little sense to try and communicate with the Soul of a dead person, as it has already taken on it's next body.

If you want to hear that he is fine and misses you go see Silva Brown. If you want truly know where he is find out if he placed his trust in Christ. If not you can give his some solicit if you do then he would know you will have a life in heaven even if he can't...

I most certainly do believe in afterlife; I believe in Heaven and I also believe in Hell. First of all, I cannot say whether or not your dad remembers what happened to himself, because I do not know whether or not he was a child of God or not; or whether he had been saved by the blood of Jesus or not. If he was (and I certainly hope so), then I do not believe that he will have any remembrance of anything on this earth. For Heaven is supposed to be a place of peace, joy, and eternal happiness. And if one there had to remember all the ungodly and evil things which go on here on this earth, I do not believe that they could be very happy. As far as whether or not you will see him again, also depends upon whether or not you go to the same place that he went to. For if he was saved, he is most certainly in Heaven. And whether or not you go there, is totally dependant upon whether or not you humble yourself before the hand of Almighty God, and ask for his forgiveness for your sins or not; and ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart. That is all that you have to do is just ask Him; and repent of your sins. And I advise you do to so immediately; for Jesus Christ is going to return to the earth very soon, to take those who have been saved back to Heaven with Him. And if your dad is in Heaven, I believe that you will most certainly see him again; that is, if you do as I have suggested. For God's Word tells us that (in Heaven) we will be known as we are known. And I take this to mean that we will recognize one another. Your dad's death was a horrible tragedy, and I pray that God will help you and strengthen you; for I know that you must miss him very much. But I must also assume, since you said that you had probably been drinking too much, that you have never asked Jesus to come into your heart, and forgive your sins. Please do this immediately. Or if you have been saved, and allowed the terrible death of your father to drag you down to this point, God will still forgive you. All you have to do is to just ask Him. And leave the rest up to Him. I assure you, you will never regret it. I love you in Jesus Christ, and I pray that you will do what is best for your own self, as I have suggested. I do not mean to try and push salvation on you or anyone else for that matter; but believe me, it will be your best choice; and you will find the happiness that you are looking for.

I answer this with no religious overtones.

yes.

We are eternal, even before we arrived here. We just don't remember, and that's as it should be.

Our souls (our true essence) is immortal.

However, I'm sorry I have no proof for you. But I believe you can find for yourself if you wish to look.

I also lost my father, only a few months ago. I believe that there is somewhere that we go after we die, and that my father, and yours also, are there now. Just live your life in a way that would make your father proud. I know he's watching you. :)
