Your family must be devastated. If one of my kids when over to delusional superstitionism it would break our hearts.

You have to keep praying for them. Try to approach them gently about the subject, but don't be surprised if they don't listen or reject what you have to say. Just keep going to God and let him do the rest. Sometimes it's the changes they see in us that makes them start to question what God is all about. Don't judge them or criticize them for being the way they are. Remember we all have sinned and non are blameless. Fasting is also something you should do. When you fast you are giving up food and drink for a period of time you decide and you spend this time in prayer. I will be praying for you and your family. God bless you.

Respect their beliefs as they respect yours. Accept that their convictions are as strong as yours. The worst thing you can do is to adopt a superior or evangelical attitude. If they are intelligent people they will see any advantages of your lifestyle and beliefs for themselves. You too, should retain an open mind and be careful not to assume that your spiritual journey is over. Nobody has all the answers.

If you are serious and this is not a joke, you can "live" a Christian life in front of them. It is easier to show most people than to tell them. Live right. Do not push the gospel on them. If they ask -tell them what they want to know, no more. They will come back and ask more later. Be patient.

You got a lot of good advice here. Go to church, pray for them, live the Christ life in front of them, show them how God has made you a different person, pray for them, then pray for them some more.
Remember, though, that God is sovereign and He will act in His good time.
Congratulations on your decision!!!

Just keep talking the talk and walk the walk. When they see the change, perhaps they will come around. Witness to them whenever possible, but don't harp on it, or they may ask you to not do it anymore, they don't want to hear it. But don't get discouraged. Pray for them. Ask the Holy Spirit to visit them with conviction to turn to Christ. Just keep trying, you will succeed.

Pray. It is easier for a non family member to witness to family members. You set the example of what Christianity is to them, so pray, pray, pray.

and that's what's so wrong with religion. now you're needlessly worried about your family. religion is riddled emotional abuse.

before you converted, were you depressed or feeiling lonely? did the christians get their hooks in you while you were vulnerable?

attitude is everything; you have the power and strength within YOU (that's what "god really is anyway). you must make yourself complete, be happy with who you are. you do not need "god". free your mind.

it is wrong to make people worry about their families like this. it is emotionally abusive, period.

Stay strong, pray for them, and continue going to church and reading your Bible. It will all work out. When they see what a difference it has made in your life they will be asking questions and you should be ready to joyfully answer them. You can PM me if you want (just click on my profile).

Don't worry, as long as you do good, I believe that God will accept whoever you want in Heaven.
