Of course we will.

Wars have been going on for thousands of years.

In fact the number of deaths in wars in recent years are very small when compared to previous wars.

Napoleonic wars ...hundreds of thousands.
American civil war...600,000
WWI...Millions
WWII...well in excess of 20 million.
Vietnam..60,000 American Soldiers, probably 10x that of Vietnamese.

The recent wars in Afgan, Iraq, Lebanon are regional wars and sad to say, in terms of deaths, they are small and almost business as usual in the history of human conflict.

Not insignificant of course if you are involved.

Best advice is to not put yourself or allow your family to place themselves in harms way.

In history, almost every major world power has survived for a period of 200 years, give or take. The U.S.A. became a power in the world after World War 2, with the invention of the atom bomb. At this rate, I say it will stay a world power until 2150. However anything can happen, it can last longer, or could end in a shorter amount of time. So given that, I 'd say yes, hopefully.

Terror poses almost no threat to human survival, nuclear war is the only thing that threatens from an armed conflict standpoint

I doubt that there will be anyone on the earth after a nuclear war begins. This could be sooner than you think, with all that is going on in the world.
