Invite them all, not everyone will show up. Especially men they tend to shy away but make sure you have everyone RSVP let them know on the invite it is imperative and you'll have your guest count about 2 weeks ahead of time. I had a WONDERFUL baby shower and have alot of awsome tips, for games and activities if you'd like email me.

She must really have a big, close family. I've never been to a baby shower with more that 25 guests. And this was her "first born". Her mother spent over $2,000.00 just on the shower. They made their own cake and did all their own decorating. You should always invite more than you really expect to come. If I remember correctly, she had invited about 40 guests to her party, not everyone will attend. Have fun!! And insist on R.S.V.P., it will help make things mush easier.

I've always heard that normally the way it goes is however many people you invite, only about half of them actually show up. That's the way it went at my baby shower. We invited about 50 people and there were about 25 that actually attended. Of course the other 25 sent presents so that was ok. :)

Good God! I had about 25 people at mine. They were mostly my husband's family and my friends. I would have had more, but all my family lived out of state. 100 seems sort of excessive though...
