*First of all... we are special because god said in Genesis, Let Us make man in OUR image. Nothing else has that distinction
Secondly, when He did make man, God "Breathed" life into him. Nothing else was given "the breath of God" which is also our soul and imparting the Holy Spirit.. which by the way, the Holy Spirit left them when they sinned.
Man is superior to the rest of creation by God's design.

NO! The earth was created for the purpose of housing all those animals and their species as well as humans and so on, none of those creatures was designed to live in heaven heaven was created for spirit creatures or angels when we die we do not change into some other life form we just cease to existit is the end of us as we are when we are living. in reality, we all go to hell wehen we die where we have no conciousness at all(Eclesiastes9:5)so we are not tortured forever in hell, and all of us go to hell untill the resurection, the good as well as bad, even Jesus went to hell until he was resurected back to being a spirit creature and ascended to heaven to the right hand of God Hell is simply the commom Grave of Mankind! We humans are living soluls until we die, and cease to exist, just like animals are living souls. (Acts27:37Genesis2:7Numbers31:28 Leviticus24:18 Revelation16:3)

If God created heaven earth and all things, then he should have provided for them in an afterlife if there is one. The only difference between adult humans, and children/animals is that the innocent have no concious sin.
Innocents go to their reward and the ones that think and plan to sin and have no regrets or serve no pennance, dont.
There is no proof either way, but it would make no sense whatsoever for someone to make an ellaborate ecosystem, planets, universe, etc... and then say only humans are allowed into my kingdom. Everything that is put here on earth (using that logic) would be here to serve us, and not themselves.
If that would be the case, we would be kings of our world and not another animal that is coping with the others.

before the creation of the physical universe the Creator spun off sparks of its self that became the souls of all that was and will be.
All things in the physical universe has a soul even if we don't recognize it as such.
When the physical body becomes to sick or weak for the soul to sustain it the soul leaves and the body starts to return to where it was made from ,the Earth,. Burials are a way of saying a final good by to the physical body by burying it in the Earth from which it came . while the soul goes on to its next form of life.

I personally believe everything living thing has a soul of some sort that goes to a better place when it dies. I don't believe in a hell, though. I believe in one, collective space we all go to when we die.
This space is limitless so there will be tons of people and animals and even insects there.
Though, I also take into account reincarnation, too.

I have heard the sentiment expressed that Heaven won't be Heaven without our pets. I am Christian, and I know there is no biblical basis for this, but I tend to think that animals are imbued with the Spirit of God and do go to Heaven. God made them, God loves them. We humans ARE more special to God, but He does still love animals.

Every living thing does go to Heaven of Hell. But, only humans have a CHOICE to accept Jesus' gift of grace and mercy to actually go to Heaven. So, every living thing except humans are always going to Heaven, but we have a choice.

The animals have never left heaven. We are the only ones confused enough not to realize where we are.
