There is no answer to that. It depends on the age of the dog and more importantly, your methods of training. Never keep a puppy in a crate for long periods of time. Do you put toys and treats in the kennel? Do you praise the dog when it quietens in the kennel? Do you ever use the kennel as a punishment? If so, it will take forever.

It shouldn't take very long, it all depends on the dog. Just keep the dog in the crate/kennel so that way they can get used to it, REMEMBER!! to take them out every once and while to stretch their legs and go potty and put them back in. Make sure they don't feel like they are being punished or they won't like it!!. And keep them in the crate/kennel for the next 3-4 days and pretty soon you'll have a trained dog that loves his/her crate/kennel :)
My blue pitbull absouletly loves her crate so much, even when she's out she'll still lay around it.

It really depends on the dog, my dog didn't need to be trained, he took right to it. However, it shouldn't take too long if you follow through, expect around a week for harder to train dogs.

Depends on the dog being trained, and the kind of training involved.
