Why do some women think wearing little to no clothes is attractive?

Whatever happened to taste & using people's imaginations? I think it's not appropriate to strut around like hookers,unless these women are on the beach of course.

It drawn more guy's attention to them and some of them dont care or dont realize that the men are not pursuing them because they want a meaningful realationship-they want sex! I dress sexy occassionally but there is a line between sexy and sl*tty.

I agree. We should appeal to the nobler motives of men. I am thankful that I don't have a husband whose head is on a swivel. He was raised by a single mother, and believes that a woman is more attractive when she has a healthy sense of modesty in the way she dresses. So if young women are thinking that all men only want sex, they are selling themselves short- and not giving the guys much credit either. If you are attractive- you are. You don't have to prove it by showing all your skin at once.

Some think it is attractive because of the male attention it gets. However, they do not realize that this attention is negative and feeds into the idea of them being easy sexual conquests for these men. It detracts from the respectability of females and reduces the gender to butts and boobs in the minds of many males. It gives younger women and girls the wrong role modeling behavior for relationships with men who have more noble intentions than "getting laid".

I wonder that myself sometimes. Especially when you are looking at this little girl that is dressed up to look like a 30 prostitute. It is sooo sad. My husband says its because some people just need attention to feel satisfaction. They have low self esteem. Either way, people really do need to start dressing a little more appropriate, not only for their age, but for their environment!

most of the time when you are wearing hardly nothing you are purposely seeking out attention, whether you think it or not. Why else would you reveal so much of ones self. It is not sexy, it just lets other people know that you may be easy and you have no respect for yourself. oh by the way i can wear whatever i want, so jealous of women who wear practically nothing I am not.

its easier to attract male attention because men respond more to visual stimulation than intellectual stimulation and its easier to "see" the goods than to imagine what the goods look like. often times these scantily clad women don't think of the negative attention this manner of dressing often brings and they fail to realize that often times as women, we have to look at the roles we play in some incidents. while many of the looks, comments and catcalls are out there, we need to realize that certain manners of dress will bring that unwanted attention and we are in control of how we dress.

we have videos, television programming, hollywood moviemakers and entertainers to thank for parading women around in scanty clothing. it also doesn't help that clothing buyers stock stores with items for little girls that are very age inappropriate, and unfortunately the parents, particularly no thinking mothers (who may dress like hoochies themselves), purchase these items and dress their little girls the same, disgusting way.

i believe it is because they have watched (and believed) too many TV commercials. The commercials are trying to sell - well, whatever, not tech people how to dress appropriately or in good taste.
