Toughguy coming thru with some great matchups! Hopkins great fighter and even now I think underrated. Robinson one of if not the best fighter of all time. That said I think the fight would be close because Hopkins style is very subtle and he uses angles well. I think quite frankly Robinson would win a very strategic fight eaking out a split decision against Hopkins. The public would be asking for a rematch.

Hopkins - W 47 (KO's 31) TF 53 - W pct 87% - KO pct 59% - wins over Del LaHoya, Trinidad, W. Joppy and Tarver - KO'ed by none - 50th greatest fighter of all-time - very unorthodox
Robinson - W 173 (KO's 108) TF 200 - W pct 87% - KO pct 54% - wins over F. Zivic[2], LaMotta[4], Armstrong, Gavilan[2], "Bobo" Olson[3], Basilio[3]and Fullmer (a who's who of welters and middle wts during the '40's and '50's) - KO'ed by Maxim (heat exhaustion)
1st greatest fighter of all-time
11th greatest puncher of all-time
Won 42 of first 44 fights
13 of his 19 losses suffered after 40 yrs old
No one at 147 or 160 could beat him
Even though Hopkins was never KO'ed maybe he would be in this fight if not an unanimous decision for Walker Smith (Ray's real name).
