Gotta go with Fryemall on this one -- wine will start oxidizing as soon as you open it. Refrigerating may give you an extra day or two, but the best way to slow down the oxidation is to get one of those vacuum systems -- the one I use is VacuVin -- that has rubber stoppers and a pump that sucks all the air out of the bottle. Another thing you might want to try if you rarely finish a bottle of wine, is wine in a box (*not* Franzia!) -- there are a handful of wineries putting decent wines in boxes these days, and because it's in a vacuum-sealed plastic bag, it keeps for up to a month. A good idea for someone who lives alone and only wants a glass or two every once in a while.

The wine will keep a little while==2 or 3 days, without significant
loss of flavor but it degenerates rapidly once the seal is broken.
It's sorta like opening a 2=liter soda and coming back a day or two later to find it still drinkable but flat.

WRONG!
An open bottle of white wine will keep in the fridge for about 3 days - max. You should drink it within 24 hours if possible. It won't spoil per se but the flavor will degrade significantly within 72 hours.

It will keep as long as you keep it sealed just push the cork back in the top
not all the way but until you can tell it is sealed
I leave my red wine out on the counter the same way
If it does start to tun it just turns to vineger so it will taste bad but it won't hurt you

White wine is not meant to be kept after it is open... u should finish it as soon as possible.
Only reds are meant to be stored.
Any wine after opening should be finished in the same day!
If the wine turns but still usable... you can always cook with it.
