Is Limewire really that bad???

Question

You are always told that downloading stuff from limewire is illeagal and you will get caught and fined bla bla bla... yet millions of people use it everyday including people I know and nothing happens to them. Do we really have things to worry about? I know about the spyware and viruses, but you get used to it and can pick out that stuff thats bad or have really good spy-ware programs, both of which I have and know how to do. In light of everything, should I download Limewire and use it?

If I were you I'd be more concerned about possible viruses that you could download onto your computer when you download songs. As long as you have a good virus protection program (McAfee is great) you'll be good to go. As far as the possibility of getting caught, make sure you don't share any of the songs you download. Marisa, Limewire is NOT a monthly service. If you are paying monthly fees to use it, well, you were scammed. And it's still illegal. Get a clue.

I wouldn't use it, the creators of limewire were recently sued by the RIAA and MPAA.
