i want to buy ipod for my friend as a gift i dont work..and dont have enougf money to buy her...do you no where could i buy a cheap one..thanks alot

Cheap....most likely means ,
"no warranty"
The battery has to be replaced if you buy a used one , thats about 99 bucks for a regular Ipod,not sure about the nano.
Buy a cheap used one and you are asking for trouble.
Get one from ebay and it breaks , now you have to pay return shipping if they accept it back.
If you can't afford a nano , don't buy one.
Your friend will understand.

If you're going for cheap, don't get an iPod, just get an MP3 player. Players with 512 Mb of memory or less can be had for little money, and a 256M player will hold 4 CDs worth of songs, and that's plenty.

I got my player there, a 256M unit for under $30. I had to download software from the internet to run it, but it's a perfectly great little player.
