you need to add yellow to your hair. Or use vinegar to get the color out and do not use blue red violet brv again and recolor with just a golden brown.

I had a similar problem. I have medium brown hair as well with highlights, and when I tried a Loreal dye,my hair became lavender, so I tried professional stuff, and it turned my hair dark purple. Your best bet is to probably go to a hair salon and see if they can fix it (they might have to strip your hair first-it costs about 100)

I hope someone helps you. But, if you have a son or daughter, do not go out in public and say your there mother with purple hair. My mom went to my high school basketball game and I got stuck with the nickname Grape Ape...For your kids sake, please, fix your hair. Have a grape day....

unfortunately color does not remove color, you should go to a proffesional and let them color it or you can try this alternative that i do all the time when my color goes awry i just darken it to a brown..
