I started dating this guy that lives one town over from me and i like him a LOT... I didnt think that i would end up liking him that much but i thought that i would give him a chance to see what i thought about him. Well my best friend (whom i have liked since 2nd grade and vice versa) found my address and came over to hang out. My entire family loves my best friend i do to...to the extreme. But i like this other guy too...do you think i should stick with my best friend? Or go with the other guy?

The best relationships start as friendships.

there is probably a reason why you call your best friend "best friend"..because you probably already know that they are trustworthy and so forth, and the plus is the whole family already likes your best friend. However, if you are already dating the guy who lives one town over, just keep to it and see how things turn out. If your best friend is truly a bestfriend, then they'll be there for you no matter what, especially if you and the dater guy doesnt work out. Don't date both at the same time though, it wouldn't be fair to either of them.

if YOU & your family love your best mate, then leave the other guy in his own town, there is a BIG difference between like & love, if you & your best friend feel the same way about each other then there is no contest, just think if they both went away tomorrow who would YOU miss the most ? who could you not live without, because that is the one,

We can't answer this question for you, but think carefully about these few things:

-How long do you think it will last with each?

-How good will it be while it lasts?

-Is it something you really want as a boyfriend or maybe just a friend?

-Are there feeling towards you sincere?

Once you've thought of those, make up your mind, good luck, it's not easy. And hey, if you get it wrong, you might get a second chance ;)

Your best friend will always be your best friend. If he is that much of a best friend, he will understand that you need other friends, too. Just remember: Nothing is permanent, only change. AND "If you CAN'T change your mind, are you sure that you still have one"? Don't let other people plan your life for you. You can't live your life to please other people, just as they aren't going to live their life because that is the way you expect them to live it. Go for what you like. Your best friend will always be your best friend. Have fun with him & your other friends. From this you will learn & grow.
