it's a chew toy made specifically for dogs.
petco sells them, and it's made from a hardened plastic/rubber that all or any of the dogs can't chew up nor chew apart.
you can put bone-bones or food inside the middle part of the kong & the dog will play with the kong & keep them occupied to try & get the food in the middle to eat.
it's a good sturdy toy for dogs that are active.
i have a female boxer who's already been spayed, But now she's about 1-1/2 yrs old.
she's so hiper & can be destructive too.
she always needs to be kept busy. so i bought her a gigantic kong. she loved it. kept herself occupied, would play with it, build up her teeth.
kept her out of trouble.
that's what a kong is.
it's usually red in color & kind of looks like a bee-hive.
very useful toy for dogs.

Kongs are wonderful toys for dogs. They are typically red, though I think there are black ones as well, and come in various shapes and sizes. The one we have for our dog is red and about 5 inches long, it looks like a snowman but is hollow inside. You can put treats in the middle of the Kong and it keeps them occupied for hours, or at least 10 minutes, trying to get it out. They bounce really well too, so if your dog likes to fetch, this is a great toy.

Kongs are a hard rubber dog toy that a look kinda like the top part of an ice cream cone. They are hollow inside and you can stuff them with peanut butter or cheese and it keeps dogs busy for hours working on trying to get the tasty treat out.

A Kong ball is a rubber thing, looks like a few balls stacked on top of each other. You put dog treats inside it, and the dog plays with it trying to get the treats out. Eventually they all come out.

Mine loves it.

It is a red or black rubber thing that is hollow and sort of shaped like a bottle or someting.
It is smaller at the top and has three sizes that get bigger going down to the bottom. It is hollow and you can put dog treats in them for hte dog or peanut butter and they can lick it out.
Keeps the dog busy and they are almost indestructible.
They last a long time and take a lot of chewing.

It is a very "strong" toy that has different levels of durability depending on your dogs needs. They claim to be almost indestructible by your dog, as well as a toy called the RHINO, but I can assure you that if your dog's jaws and determination is strong enough both of them are far from indestructible. The RHINO even claims to be Pit bull tested, but still to no avail. They are similar in rubber-like material. Despite all that it is still a fun toy. You can even buy a paste in several flavors ( comes in a can like spray cheese) to insert in the middle of a KONG for extra excitement for your dog!

All good Pet Shops sell KONGS.
Kongs were invented by Buster Lloyd Jones,as a boredom breaker for dogs. and are made of solid rubber, with a hollow centre that can be filled with goodies for the dog to remove. They are tough and come in all sizes from cat-size to giant for the "Bull breeds" and Staffs. They are virtually indestructible!
They even come on ropes, and some float.
Their shape is hard to describe, but is characteristic,Like a cone, or 3 rings one on top of another, and usually red.

Kong's are GREAT! They are useful for keeping a dog occupied and entertained. You can put dog biscuits, treats, peanut butter, ice inside and the dog has fun getting it out. Kong also sells treats and fillers that are made specifically for their toy. Both of my dogs love their Kong!

the kong is a indestructible rubber toy. Shaped in a pyramid shape (sort of) and bounces in all directions.

Unfortunately I believed the "hype" and bought the indestructible toy for my dogs (staffordshire bull terriers) which they destroyed in 30 minutes.

I live in england and have seen these on sale.

I live in Australia and they are a very popular toy for a dog. These kongs are tough, tough, tough. They have a whole through them in which you may put some food inside, these toys keep dogs busy for hours.
