Man, its os worhtless to keep that computer
More Ram makes everything go faster
and windows 98.....(isn't that great)
if i where you i would buy whole new computer
you can get a compaq at circuit city for 300$ and it comes with a tower.........monitor.....and a printer
and the tower has updated software so forget 98
and comes with 512 MB of RAM

512mb modules are usually around $40-$60. 1GB Modules are usually around $80-$110. pretty much start at 256mb, which are around $25-$35, and double the price from there.

depends where you live on this almighty earth ...well in UK you can buy new one for £21 ..... and used one for £5 .... i am not sure about the precises in other countries
