Tossed around numbers and the lowest the guy will go is 900 in cash .....Should I go for it or am i being ripped off b/c im a woman????
I asked if he wouldnt mind me paying with a bank draft and he said no only cash... a draft is pretty much the same as cash once its drawn up i dont own the money anymore ... i cant take the car and run with the money so why only cash??Is he hiding something???

With a draft you dont need a bank account you just bring it to a bank and get the money no Q's asked ...also its not like a check he wouldn't have to pay taxes on it.. its like a money order/cash ....so what could he be hiding ..

what kind of car? a 3.3L engine would be a dodge mini van or a chrysler car. Ok.. what year? $900? Seems kinda low for 115k miles.

some people don't have bank accounts, or owe money to IRS or whatever, and cash can be hidden away and he can remain underground, if he's there.

He's probably hiding something, but if the car seems fine, it's probably just him hiding from the gov't.

He just doesn't want to be bothered with having to run to the bank to cash it or take a chance that they will make him wait a week before they will "clear" it. CASH is the best way to go.

I ALWAYS request cash. Anything else is a bother.

If it starts and runs 900 sounds good. Most people just want cash so they dont pay taxes on it.

no thats a good deal. hes only excepting money because bank cards usually aint good with tot the notes and before you pay him test drive it once more and take it to a machanic to make sure it aint gonna break down on you before you get home with it

I would say that $900.00 is a good deal for this car.
Maybe he doesn't understand a bank draft is same as cash.

you did not say what year or make of car
900 is a steal for most any car these days
have a independent mechanic look at it
