There is no way to settle this. Just hide the weapons. As long as they are siblings, live together, and all that stuff, they will always fight.
And when your daughter is 16 and your sun is 13, the fighting will still be there, but you will be much more involved in it. So just be happy now.
Siblings dont start getting along until they are mature. They love each other though, so dont feel to bad.

Don't have a 12 year old daughter and 9 year old son next time. That's the solution.
Good luck. Keep plenty of band aids around.

well you could let them stay the night at a friends house together and by the time they come back the new items should be bought or you could get them some thing that they want for christmas and while they are gone you can by them each that special thing that they want wanted 4 christmas that they can not wait 4 ! or you can say if you do not get along then you will not be goin' any where and you can only sit in your rooms and sleep or stare at the walls !
or you can send me emails about your problems and i mite can help with them!

you're very superb in exhibiting concern. young ones presently look and a few act greater mature, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, mentally they do no longer seem to be mature adequate for severe relationships surprisingly at 12 years previous. protecting arms is one ingredient, yet kissing is a greater emotional stance in a relationship than one can think of, surprisingly once you ingredient in a 12 year previous female. believe your gut instincts. And its under no circumstances too early to prepare and communicate alongside with your daughter, with the aid of fact young ones would be young ones.

Ask them both why they like to fight each other. If they say its fun give them BOTH something else non competitive related.

my dad bought us boxing gloves, everytime we started to fight, he would make us put them on and fight it out. After a few times, you get tired of it so we made sure not to fight in front of him any more.

seperate them. and then let them like eachother gradually. I never liked my sister when i was younger but now we are fine. Some kids just fight until they mature and realize that they faught over stupid stuff.
