Most major drug companies have plans for people with low or no incomes where the patient can get their meds either free or at a reduced price. If your Mom is going to a doctor who specializes in cancer treatment they may have someone in their office who can help with applying for this from the company that makes the drug she needs. Talk to your Mom's primary doctors and explain the situation to them and they can help you find ways to ease the financial burden

I wish you all the luck in the world. apply for medicaid. I had lung cancer in 2001 they removed my right lung. and i had to sit donation cups out in the convenient stores to help pay for my meds my bills. and no help nothing from our state government. and then they had the gall to send me a letter this past summer asking me if i needed any "MORE" help from them. I went down there and i told them son of a bitches a thing or two. if youre from another country the bastards will come to your door and ask you if you need anything at all. food stamps housing whatever. I couldnt get anything. I hate everything about this system.

It by no means hurts to invite. Write them a letter and give an explanation for what's going on. You might have to furnish a letter out of your medical professionals to verify that you simply are not simply making up some thing to get extra time.

If they don't have the resources there ARE hospitals which will take them and write it off..or at least have them owe pennies on the dollar
A friend of mine's husband had throat cancer and they went to UVA hospital in Charlottesville VA for treatment.
Ca,, around and ask ...especially at teaching hospitals.
And, if worse comes to worse, medicaid.

It never hurts to ask. Write them a letter and clarify what is going on. you could could desire to furnish a letter out of your docs to substantiate which you at the instant are not in basic terms making up some thing to get extra time.

It not ever hurts to ask. Write them a letter and explain what is going on. You can also have to furnish a letter out of your doctors to affirm that you don't seem to be just making up anything to get more time.

depending on the stages that she is currently in, any oncology department can help you get facts on where to get money.. The local "hospice" is a good place to start to find out what you need to do..
