Theres a long story that leads up to it and its to hard to explain. My aunt and uncle have a kid named Erik. and well he isnt doing to well. Well see he has this very rare disease and theres no care. it hurts talking about it..... and i feel bad. he already had surgery many times and the last time they took out part of his hip to run tests on.... He is already 7 and has had this disease for 7 years and most people who have this disease die in 10 years... he needs blood so my family is providing it and even that may not help him survive. i pray all the time every morning.. every night. and we just got back from camping and he seemed to really really want a puppy and my dog just had puppies. so we gave him one. God bless him......

that's really sad, but there isn't much that you can do

Your loving Erik and giving him precious memories also will help you all to remember the good times, too. Between doctor visits, live as normally as you can. Your prayers are so good for your peace of mind and you must know God hears and will honor your prayers in His own way and time. Share lots of pictures, laughter, and hugs and kisses with each other so that this time with Erik is not wasted.

I don't know what the question is, but I would check with his parents to make sure that a puppy won't hurt him in any way and see if they can take one in, and then give him one if you can. I wish you and your family the best!

i will pray for him too. Be confident thats the key. Make sure you do absolutely everything he wants. Im sure if you make him happy enough he will survive. Even if he wants like the most impossible thing ever try your hardest for it. Good luck girl. God Bless him...

You are doing the best you can. The rest is in God's hands. The puppy is a great idea.
