In written guitar music, PIMA refers to your right hand fingers.

In spanish,
P = Pulgar = Thumb
I = Indice = index finger
M = Medio = Middle finger
A = Anular = ring finger

So if you see a "p" on top of the note, it means play with your thumb, etc.
