Why does the human race think that they are supiror over all the other certures on the planet???

I asked that question myself before.I was watching this movie once and they said an interesting point.One guy said that we are on top of the food chain.A female replied, "We were never on top of the food chain.We just forgot living in big cities".And this puzzles me.We are so supreme, but all we have to do is get bit by a tick with lime disease and you can call it a day if it is not taken off in time.Is a tick that mighty?Or am I that arogant?And mamals adapt to the environment.We don't make the environment adapt to us.

well that depends on how you define things. Humans are able to control their environment like no other animal and in almost all cases is at the top of the food chain.
The time now is for humans. Our time will pass and another species will have it's shot. We have not been here very long in terms of the life of the earth, nor will we be around for long in the same terms.

well to answer your question, most of us have the ability to articulate a thought. I know that animals have the capacity to communicate, but I would say that no other animal can communicate as a human can.

Actually, I think my cats are smarter than me. I come home all stressed out, crying, etc., and they just look at me with wide eyes and a yawn.
