For the dry hair there is a lot of products you can use, Pantene has a good line of products for that (I have the same problem with my hair) I use a shampoo and conditioner for dry hair, then I apply the Neutrogena 60 second treatment renewal, and last when I blow dry my hair I use a anti-frizz which helps and protects a little my hair. Try not to wash your hair very often..once every other day will help your hair build its own oil....I know...it doesn't sound so clean if you think in no washing your hair, but it helps.
For the split ends...well, there is nothing you can do about it...so don't believe in those ads that say they will repair the split ends, the only way is to trim those ends often. And when you (if you) blow dry your hair try not to put the hot air too close to your hair.

Now, if you don't want to spend too much money in products (believe me , it costs a lot of money) you can try putting mayonnaise only from the middle of the hair till the ends, not from the routs and just for about ten minutes, If you leave it more than that your hair will smell and will need a long time for it to go away.

The first thing is to go to the hairdressers and get those split ends cut off otherwise your hair will get ruined and the split ends will get higher so you would need to get even more hair cut off. While you're there you can have a good conditioning treatment. I know this can all be expensive, but it is worth it for the first treatment and then you can do conditioning treatments yourself.

Something I do is heat up regular olive oil in the microwave for about ten seconds, add a few drops of juniper oil and then rub it into my hair all over. Keep it in overnight and wash out in the morning. I also suggest drinking lots of water!

Also try to keep using hot tools such as hairdryers and straighteners to a minimum, but if you do use them, make sure you spray a hair protector spray on first.

First you'll have to cut off all the dry split ends, because the damage will just continue up the shaft of the hair. That's why it's essential to trim your hair every few weeks, it's sometimes daunting because you want your hair to grow but then you do the opposite by cutting it. The portion cut is so little though, it's just part of keeping it healthy. Once you've cut those ends, try using a product that contains olive oil or use the actual olive oil (use the light one). Your hair will shine and continue to be healthy.

The best you can do is regular trims. Use a deep condition treatment like Aussie 3 Minute Miracle once a week. Limit the use of curling irons and blow dryers. Dont brush or comb dry hair, use only wide tooth combs on wet hair and dont "stretch" wet hair if knotted, carefully remove knots from the bottom up. Dont play with your hair when its dry. Also using a spray on leave in conditioning treatment helps. Keep in mind, You cant FIX split ends.

There is no way to repair split ends, you have to get your hair trimmed. You can prevent split ends by taking good care of your hair: get regular trims, dont over dry, if you use a curling or straightening iron use a heat protection product, use good products and try a weekly deep conditioner.

I used to have that. first of all dont be a stranger to a salon .. try cutting the ends at least ones in three months, or 2 months ..
if u have dry hair use a good conditioner .. if u have oily scalp and dry ends .. use conditioner just on your ends .. try hair masks .. i really like Gliss Kur masks and whatever stuff they have for the hair really works miracles, u wont regret .. :) but again depending on your hair type .. dont over do it if u have oily sculp .. dont wash your hair very often also .. not every day at least .. good luck ..

Well, I know you don't want to hear this but, a good trim is the best way to get started. Applying conditioners and then sitting under a hood dryer works great also. Mayo is a good conditioner, cheap too! Try not to use clarifying shampoos,or prell, or baby shampoos. These all strip the hair of oils. Pantene has a great line also. Not as pricey as Nexxus or Paul Mitchell.
