I think that it doesn't matter in who or what you believe. Life is still a mystery. I believe in God, and saying that there are certain things in life we would never find out in this world doesn't mean that I am doubting him. It's normal when people doubt their believes, but is to test them and make their faiths stronger.

But I do believe that we can all agree that Life is a Mystery doesn't matter if you believe in a higher power or not. No one has the answers to everything, they can give you a theory but it's still not a fact.

And God and the Bible can give you some of the answers, but you wouldn't really know until you reach the end of your life. Some questions are left unanswered.

I think we have the right as people to know everything about life after we die and rest in peace. (I am talking as a Christian here).

Not all the Religions and Believe Systems give all the answers to life but is good to believe in something

People aren't getting my statement.

I am being realistic here. I am a Christian, have been for many years. I have questions I would love to ask God about the creation, and I know I am not going to find no where else. Evolution theories are limited to me, and I am sorry I don't believe their theories about the beginning of earth.

I am just saying that there are things I would love to know about God and life.

Not that I am stopped losing my find.

Gosh lol.

How am I going to stop believing in God after years of forming this faith when the World is at his worst times.

In some ways I do agree that life is a mystery, but as a christian God has revealed the mystery to his people through his holy spirit. If you are a christian, then I assume you have felt God's presence in your life. This feeling alone gives me all I need to know what the future holds for me. There is a song that says, I'm a winner either way, if I go or if I stay. That's how I feel. I love life and hope to live a long and healthy one and get the chance to teach my grandchildren about the Lord and see them grown. You get my meaning, but if God chose to take me today then I would be in a better place. That is no mystery, to me it is fact !!

You are right a basic belief system is needed. It does not have to be Chrisian as other cultures and religions have thier own system. The Bible is a book written by man and most of it was from verbal stories that were handed down from generation to generation. These require thought, judgement and study to uncover the truths told there.

There is far more that humans do not know, and will probably never know, than what we know (or are aware of).

Religions are typically invented to offer simplistic explanations (God did it) to unexplainable events. But, that does not mean God actually did it, or that God even exists.

Everyone should practice his own version of "God did it" within the privacy of his own home, or within the confines of his own group rather than attempting to coerce others, or, brainwashing children or the weak minded, into adopting those beliefs.

Yes, and I like the quote from the movie Dogma to explain my belief system, to use your words. In that movie the black guy asks the girl who is the last Zion, do you believe in her? The girl responds, I have a good idea.

I have a good idea that science usaually works. I also have a good idea there has to be something bigger than us humans itellectually and spiritually in the world. Are the two ideas mismatched in one person?

No, because both coexist in me and in others.

If parts of life are still a mystery to you, you don't have a true religion. Try Pastafarianism (The church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster) it explains everything.

the entire premise is incorrect for some motives. the main vehement, wacko fundamentalists and the main die annoying nihilist atheists the two settle for that there is secret and information previous the barriers of human information. additionally, it relatively is tough to nail down atheists to the easy place that "there isn't any God." it relatively is only too simplistic of a view. the subject is that non secular human beings, interior the path of discussion, redefine God to three extent of vagueness that isn't concurrent with their own view. "Atheists" do no longer ought to teach each obscure definition of God untrue. they only ought to teach that the guy with the beard who commanded the Israelites around did no longer exist. For the purpose of debating with Christians, Jews and Muslims, it incredibly is sufficient. specially, you're incorrect by way of fact human beings have not got self assurance in accordance to information. they have self assurance in accordance to how they sense approximately some thing, then circulate finding for information to lower back it up. learn of cognitive dissonance theory have shown that many absolutely everyone isn't able to even understand information opposite to their own attitude. it is not substantial in case you're an atheist or a fundamentalist. absolutely everyone seems to be subject to the failings of human reasoning. interior the top, absolutely everyone seems to be a pragmatist tainted via their own own way of existence. Small ideological sacrifices are made each time to 2 cultures work together. it incredibly is why many different religions share the comparable iconography. it incredibly is why many categories of music incorporate suggestions and types from the previous. this occurs in literature, in language, in each type of imaginative expression. The term is consumer-friendly as syncretism, and it proves that the subjective certainty of mankind... enormously whilst it is composed of religion... is incredibly, very fluid. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, we've contemporary kit to computer screen the universe, and we've the thank you to ascertain which organic phenomena are static and real for each guy or woman. the hunt for purpose fact has in basic terms relatively only began, meaning there are a lot of mysteries yet to discover. The greater we study, the greater it is going to become sparkling that antiquated theologies of the previous are a trifling nook of the shadow of fact.

I agree that life is a mystery. It doesn't get better as you age, either. It gets even more mysterious. Don't let the unbelievers get you down...I read some of your responses. Keep asking, keep preaching, keep us thinking. See you on the other side.
