don't get me wrong, women with short hair look great as well, but nothing is more beautiful than a women with long hair.take care

It makes a woman look more feminine, and they seem to act more feminine, as compared to the short haired, "butch" style, that looks more masculine. Men like running their fingers through a woman's long hair. You can't do that with the short stuff! It also gives a woman a more slender, svelte appearance, even when she has a few extra pounds. Short hair doesn't offer that quality for a woman at all. Many women today are too lazy to deal with long hair and would rather chop it off for convenience and low maintenance purposes. I feel, what a waste! Short hair can make a woman look "cute", but long hair(shoulder length and longer) makes a man say a woman looks beautiful!!Take note ladies, and don't get offended, just let that hair grow!

It is because women with long hair look natural and sexy. They look like women. The most beautiful know to keep their hair clean and healthy. Women with long hair that do not keep it health ruin the effect. All you see then is split ends and the need for a good hair cut. Long hair that is health moves with the woman. It can be worn up or down. ..........I bet you can tell I have very long hair. As a woman of 45, I still get great compliments on my long hair.

Because that is your preference. I have long hair but I'm cute if I were to go bald tonight, but I hope I don't(LOL). But the fertility thing is like sooooo crazy, hair is heredity, not if you (took care of yourself and are healthy) blah, blah, blah......... There are plenty of women with hair so short you can roll it with rice and they have a whole football team behind them and cheerleader squad and they are all yelling mommy!!!! LOL So don't let the long hair fool ya on fertility. Check out the infertility clinic the next time you are in a hospital that has one, enought long hair in there to start a wig shop and no babies...............

It is an ancient wish that all women have long flowing locks of clean sweet smelling hair. Wasn't it the story of Repunsel or similar where she grew the hair and they got off by caressing the locks while climbing up the tower of love??

I like women with shaved heads and long hair and short hair and anything in between, all women look good because they can.

I agree, however it is a lot of work to keep the long hair in good shape. And dare I mention what it does for the plumbing, today's women mostly go to work and that is also a deterrent for many of us from keeping our hair long

I tend to agree about the long hair and fertility. Shows that the lady is healthy and she can bear children without being sickly. Besides. I gave caveman something to drag her by even if she didn't want to go! lol yeah right!

I have wondered that myself. I have had short to shoulder-length hair for many many years but only in the last couple have had it longer, down to mid-back, not a conscious decision but didn't know what else to do with it, and have noticed guys look more! So, you tell me!!

It's thought that long hair is a sign of fertility; the woman is able to grow healthy hair and by inference would be nourished enough to bear children.

Historically long hair is associated with youth and purity. Also most older women tend to have shorter hair.
