How good is Chinese military tech?

Ground Forces-As the ground forces are getting smaller, they are better able to equip them with higher tech equipment.Though the equipment is still the Russian type with better guns,fire control,powerplants etc.
For example a BMP with a European designed cannon.But it will still blow up like a BMP.
Air,Navy- The Chinese are getting Mig-29s,their missile technology is very good.(since they make alot of our computers).A recent example being the missile fired into that israeli warship recently.

It's probably the best in the world. All of our high tech electronics are manufactured in China today. Now they are about to start building Boeing Jets. Of course they don't need a large high tech army when we are self destructing from within, they just have to wait and they will have all our money and can easily buy the United States without firing a shot.

Its probably pretty modern because the technology in the major cities surpass the U.S. Ex. the subway systems and buses have newer tech than the U.S. Also China buys weapons from Russia so they are probably pretty high tech.

low tech old soviet weapons. mig fighters which arent that bad, SAMS, AK-47s, not very well trained military. all they have on the U.S. is numbers which doesn't mean they would win a war. And the quality of a countries public transit doesnt tell you anything about a countries military regardless of the country.

I'll say this, in 10-20 years China will be a formidible enemy, today however they are not.
