I am 5'11 and I am interested in a guy who is 5'7 not much difference but he made a comment about how when we go out with friends he doesn't like it when i wear my sandals (1/2 inch heel) he says i look like a giant. Now I always feel uncomfortable wearing anything but flip flops.

Well sometimes guys don't like taller girls because its makes them feel like "less of a man if a girl is taller" but then again some guys don't care... But if he's making comments like that are making you feel uncomfortable then, maybe you should find someone else... You should always feel comfortable with the guy that you like. And if you like your sandals then keep wearing them... Be yourself, you don't need to change because of him... He knew that you were a little taller when he got with you so he needs to get over it... But don't let if get to you... K... So he needs to get over it... Its not that big of a deal... Your tall so what he doesn't have to be with you if it really bothers him. You are who you are and you can't change that...And let him know that... And if he doesn't like then forget him...

I'm tall too. I've dated men that are shorter than me. Some men think my long legs are sexy and others feel insecure about me being taller. I've found that I like men that are taller than me too. It's just a matter of preference. Important thing is they will love you for you. sounds like he has insecurity issues so the problem is his not yours.

Just look at tom cruise and katie holmes. The height difference is def there but they still look cute together and obviously care about each other. My point is that height shouldn't be all that important to the guy, and if he gets to know you for you, then it won't be that important at all

its a matter of opinion really. I don't mind it much, but I can't say that I prefer it, because I would prefer a girl to be shorter than me. It's not that important though, but I see how it could bother him a little.
