He keeps telling me he loves me but I dont love him... and we fight about the stupidest things. I feel like we are better off as friends and I want to tell him in person when I go back to school but what do I say? I already tried to tell him but all that happened was we ended up being on a break till we go back to school and he thinks he can change when we get back but I dont think he can or should change for a girl. what should I do??

You are just not that in to him, and you need to be honest with him. Yes, you will hurt him, and he will most likely pressure you for more, but stay strong. You already seem to have moved on, and are just going through the motions. You are fighting because you see him differently than you did when you were "into" him. You may have to sacrifice the friendship part to be able to allow yourself, and him, to move on. No one should ever have to change for someone, and you are right to admit this. You need to find someone that you are "into", and he needs to find someone that is "into" him. Stay strong, and be honest and open with him. Tell him that though you care for him, it's not as he had hoped, and that you are moving on with your life. You need to concentrate on school, and reconnect with your life. Become your own best friend, and find happiness within yourself. Stay single for a while, and just go out to have fun.

Tell him the truth. There's no way to pretty up bad news. You don't want to hurt his feelings but you want to make sure he got the message - and honey, the fact is, telling a guy you want to be friends is the kiss of death. His feelings and his ego WILL be hurt, no getting around that. I suggest you try to talk to him the way you would like to be told, and take it from there. You may want to do this in a public place where you can escape if you need to, just in case he gets hostile.

Ever heard of the old saying...I like you as a friend just not as a boyfriend? Well he needs to hear it from you forcefully. Don't let him talk you out of it if that is truly what you want. That is why people date....to find the right one...and apparently he isn't the right one for you! Good luck!

look i know this might be hard to do. and it will be eaisier to deal with when you get older. all you have to do is go to him and tell him that w/e his name i know you like but i dont really feel the same way about you i just want to be friends. and it would be better to move on anyways. just dont rush anything and youll do fine

dont make life complicated for you. just tell him striaght out that you dont see you guys going anywhere and how you just see him as more of a friend then a boyfriend. dont make up something. just tell him straight out
becasue you dont want to make it long just get to the point becasue my ex when he broke up with me he like wrote this long letter thing and it was just to long.
