I went to see a preacher from a episcapol church who had written a book, I forget his name at the moment, however his insights apart from his book were very revealing and entertaining. He by the way didn't ask for any money to attend or did he pass the plate during the event, he was just expanding on his points he wrote about. One of the things he talked about was that By Peters example Christianity could accept Gay people into their congergations because if your guilty of one sin in Gods eyes, your guilty of all of them, so why not allow sinners to join in the celebration of forgiveness? John Straub? He brought forth many other interesting points, that was just one I see being questioned heavily in this forum.

Ive seen travelling preachers, some were goofy some were cool. It depends on the peacher. You hear them sometimes called "Tent revivals" and usually they're evangelizing more than teaching. Someone puts a tent up in a town, people get curious, they hear music, they enter. If the preacher is good, I think they're a good thing.People will be curious to see whats going on in the tent more than they'll be curious to see whats going on in a Church.

Your assumption appears to be that all Christians are the same, it is true there are a great number of Harlot Christians in the world today. Making a mess of things. While Christians who should make a stand don't, instead they are hiding in there safe place a/k/a their church being the cowards they are.

No, I would not be part of the Harlot church.

Did I miss something? Which preachers are you talking about? I am confused now. Performance isn't the word you are looking for at the service. Teaching, preaching, singing sure but not Performance. Can you tell me who you wanted me to choose from on your list?

Maybe, depending on who it was. Some times it is nice to hear the word from someone different. "Performance" is not the word to use here, I don't want to see a performance of any preacher, teaching or a sermon, yes.

I don't call it a performance. God sent some to be pastors and some to be teachers and I believe some to be evangelists ( traveling preachers). They each have a special calling of God.

Romans 10:14
How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

Romans 10:15
And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things

They provide theater just like any performer.

Nope, wouldn't go see them, support them or even watch them on tv. Bunch of charlatans, begging money from people living on social security with that whole "you need to give to get into heaven" nonsense, while they build their huge mansions with these poor peoples food money.
