I'm a cat lover and I have 2 beautiful loving cats. they're my babies. in my own personal opinion I think that cats are way better than dogs. cats are low maintance, occupy themselves when were you're not home, DO NOT smell, aren't annoying, you don't have to walk them daily, and you don't have to give them baths. I love cats and I would choose a cat over a dog anyday. I just don't understand why people don't like cats! cats are sooooooooo much better than dogs!!!!!! what do you think?

for your information Shakira, spaying/neutering your pets IS NOT inhumane!!!!!!! why do you think the ASPCA does it? DUH!!!!!!! spay your cat!!!!!!!

wow - there are some seriously screwy people out there! Neutering is not inhumane, what is inhumane is letting animals breed indiscriminately so that there are so many unwanted pets out there that they end up being euthanized or worse, living on the streets eating rubbish/being infected with all sorts of disease and having no-one to love them. Phew, now that's off my chest - I love cats the most - I think that people who say that they dislike them haven't actually owned one before. They can be trained, they don't need a lot of space like most dogs do, and they are JUST as affectionate and loyal! Don't get me wrong, I'm fond of dogs, but dogs are like children, they are demanding and needy - cat's will be your friend for life! Plus, I've got two cats already, so when I finally move into a bigger place, it will be easier to introduce a puppy to my cats rather than a kitten to my dog!

I Think Cats Don't Do Tricks And Stuff Like That
Because I Think That They Are Too Smart To

People like and hate various things. Often times when people dislike a certain animal it is because of a bad experience such as a cat attacking them or because they are superstitious of the animal (especially cats) or they go by what other people say.
People tend to think that cats are stupid, but my cats are far from stupid. I think any cat owner could say that. I have a cat that fetches one time he wanted a piece of beef jerky so he carried the bag over to me and wanted me to open it, one cat sits and lays when I tell him to, yesterday my brother came into the house and one of my cats was sleeping in front of the door, he accidentally bumped the cat, the cat walked over to him and started meowing at him really loud as if he was chewing him out.

People who don't like cats tell me that cats don't follow you , there not as loyal and they are stupid. But those people should really get to know cats more. Because cats are sweet lovable animals. Some cats are sweet and they can be smart. I think peoplewho likes dogs more have A.D.D casue having a cat takes lot of love and patience.

I think the dog/cat debate is like asking why you don't like bananas and you like to eat melon.
Some do, some don't.
We could go on arguing all night about the pros and cons of either animal, but in the end it all boils down to personal opinion.

I don't know. My cat is really smart, but then again acts so stupid at night. I like my cat a lot. Not really well behaved and sorta demonized. But oh well lol. Its a Asian-Leopard Bengal cat. Worth a lot of money, but we got ours cheap probably because of the slow mind ;)

People are needy creatures and most cats just don't give you that unwavering loyalty like dogs. They are independent meaning people want to feel needed. Cats are great and you are so right about being less work. Of course I love my dogs to he he

I don't know, but, I am a huge cat lover. I agree, they are self sufficient, pretty much worry free. My cats are my babies too !! I have had this one cat for 9 years, she is sooooooooooo spoiled.

I think people who dont like cats probably like going for walks and stuff but i LOVE cats there so lovable and friendly and my cat tinkerbell is my baby too

I have a cat, and my friends( except another 3 cat owners) are affraid of it BADLY beacause it likes to sit on high ground and is spooky in the night, but I love PUFI, to me he dosen't seem scarry and dangerous, he's just cute
