About 3 months ago, my family and I adopted two kittens that we found ...they were about 5 weeks old and had been born in and and lived in my neighbors shed their whole lives. We let our son name them, and as he was just starting to get excited about the movie "Cars", he named them Sally and Mater. Sally also has two middle names, making her name Sally Shania Malexis + our last name of course, which I won't be putting on here :) Mater seems to have a small depth perception problem, so instead of being graceful like some other cats, she's very clumsy, so sometimes we lovingly call her "Clunker"

Our cat was named Bugsey, after the mobster because he was a really tough little kitten. I'm going to stick with the mobster theme for all my future cats. Our dogs name is Levi, but I don't think I'll stick with the denim theme,hehe

I like to give my cats unusual names. My current cat is named Sophie Lilac. My 20 year old, who passed away in May & was my best buddy was named Chopper Bates.
