The attempt to convert or recruit others to a belief or cause, is "proselytizing". American revolutionaries proselytized, those who wanted to expunge Native Americans proselytized, Hitler, Stalin, proselytized. The U. S. military proselytizes through recruitment posters, ads in the media, and recruitment personnel who visit schools touting the benefits of enlisting in the military.

The Bush administration proselytized, and passed, the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001, one of the most disastrous acts ever placed on education in the United States. One of the effects of this Act is that public schools cannot deny an education to anyone--even children who are of illegal immigrant status.

The No Child Left Behind Act also placed a burden on this nation's schools by demanding that, in order to receive federal funds, a school provide, and be accountable for, students and parents who could not, or would not, be accountable for themselves.

Presuming that you know what is right or best for another is tantamount to believing you are God.

If we did we would be a lot more careful about hurting other ppls feelings or insulting each other.

I am a christian.I believe with all my heart that Jesus Christ is coming soon. My hearts desire is for everyone to know Jesus. I do not feel a need to be right,I know I am. If you have ever had a relationship with Jesus, you would not need to ask that question.
My prayer for you is that you will find the TRUTH, the TRUTH will set you free.
Jesus loves you. He will cause other Christians to tell you about Him so you will believe in Him.
People love to make fun of Christians and try to hurt us-but then Jesus said they would.
Ask Jesus to prove Himself to you-He will.
Then you will be alive forever.

I am not like the rest it seems. My job is to tell the people the truth, if people want to be converted it is between the person and Jesus himself.

Unlike the Middle East where they will murder your whole family for refusing to convert.

I care for you all and to all I offer the following:

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, so that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

There is one religion in this world that does not proselytise.

Hinduism.

Conversion or proselytising is to control and have power over populations.

Money is used. So is violence. Religion is very important for some to make money and for others it is acquisition of land.

In both cases, it is to acquire something that does not belong to them but gives power and control.

I think that some people really want to help others. But, most people just want to be right. They don't care what you have to say, they just want you to hear them and there views. I don't think that they even really care if you heard all of what they had to say, i think that they just want to hear themselves. Maybe the more they hear it come out of their mouth, the more they really believe it themselves.

They try to take the responsibility of God. God has the capability and power to make us all of one religion. God did not impose His powers and leave it on our free will to follow what seems right. The people who try to convert other religions infact have no knowledge about God and their own religions.

I do not try to convert anyone to my particular faith. God says we must witness and sow the seed. He takes care of the rest. I don't care which church you go to but at least try one before you condemn them all. Peace. God, the seed is sown, the harvest is Yours.
