I think the questioner is a bigot by his use of the term American Zionist Jews, but that is really a minor point.
There is no restriction on US citizen's serving any a foreign service that I know of IF they are not fighting against the US. Moreover, as one person pointed out, they did not refuse to serve in our Army, they just did not volunteer for it, and they could have many reasons for this.
But most of you also missed another point. If they are Jewish, when they went to Israel, they automatically became Israeli citizens under the Israeli law of return. This means they are simply patriots for their new country.

Many American fought in the RAF during the early years of the war in Europe. They wanted to help. When we finally entered the war they came back. As long as the soldiers do not fight against the US there is no problem. I commend those that want to be right in the thick of things.

I could be wrong about this, but I believe that if an American serves in another country's army that they lose their American citizenship.

In actuality they are "Mercenaries". Usually paid.
We had American Mercenaries serve with China during their war with Japan. We were not involved as a nation.
Do you know for a fact that the same men refused to serve in US military? It is all voluntary, you know.

twin citizenship reasons a brilliant sort of issues interior of ones self. If for example, one strikes from usa to Germany and could become a citizen and Germany and usa bypass to war that man or woman could be forced to come to a decision on the place their loyalties lie. Its one or the different! you could not have the two! Rightfully you could assume a man or woman to come to a decision on their place of delivery over a place they have lived some years. to handle the subject with the american Zionist Jews it is not a call for them to serve of their military. in the event that they desire to maintain their citizenship they could desire to serve.

How do you know they refused to serve in the U.S. army? It's a volunteer army so you can't refuse. How about you? Ready to sign up? They are more admirable than you.

I've never thought about this; I guess it would depend on whether they were in an army that were fighting against the US. I can see that someone whose parents and ancestors were raised in another country and they were brought up to love and respect that country would want to fight for it.
