You don't, she has her own motives in life....Live life the way you feel comfortable living it and tell your sister that you love her but that you will not accecpt her behavior. Sisterhood is not an easy thing...If you can just love her for who she is and not what you want her to be...then you can learn to advoid the drama.
Good luck,

"Additude"...? What, is she interested in arithmetic, or something?
Oh! Attitude! What kind of attitude does she have? A good attitude? A poor attitude? A combative attitude? There are so many kinds, you know.
Also, if you could be a *bit* more specific than "She freaks (sic!) on everything". This is fairly meaningless.
If you'll re-write your question, I'd be glad to try to help you out, as I had three sisters when I was growing up!

Peter: I hope this isn't a ripoff like that breakfast machine I bought.
(Cut to peter in his kitchen activating his breakfast machine. A ball rolls activating a series of devices soon reaching a balloon attatched to a string attached to a gun. This pulls the trigger and shoots Peter right in the arm.)
Peter: AAAAHH!! WHAT WAS THE POINT OF ALL THAT?! THIS JUST SHOOTS YOU IN THE ARM! IT DOESN'T MAKE BREAKFAST AT ALL! AAAHHH!

explain to her that she needs to deal with problems in a calmer way, and tell her that she is the boss of her, not the boss of you. tell her that you are grateful for her input, but that you would like to handle your own issues by yourself.
