it seems to have a delay in the frame that I took. Like I will have the perfect picture lined up and hit the shutter button and then the picture will show up different.

Make sure you don't have it set on "red eye" or the flash/pic will have a delay. Also, if you are using certain "SCN" settings, this will also cause a delay.

Check, too, on top of the camera to see if you have your shutter adjusted ... this, too, will cause a delay.

When all else fails, refer to the manual.

Just about any camera under $500 will do this - it's the camera's computer focusing and setting brightness. More expensive cameras have faster computers, so this isn't as much of a problem for them.

Practice taking pictures, so it gets to the point that you will know to hit the button a second or two before the shot will happen.

Throw that Kodak away and get something else. I paid $400 for a Kodak once and a short time later when I changed over to XP they wouldn't support that model with new software. I ended up with a fairly new camera from Kodak that I couldn't use. I wouldn't advise anyone to buy any Kodak products. That was pretty callous of them.

It takes time for the shutter to release after you press the button. That's the problem with that cheap camera.. I have one too and the same problem. You kind of have to press the button a bit before you want to take the photo.. It's hard to anticipate when :) Now I have a new camera and it's way better (A Nikon)

There is a delay you have to hold still after taking the picture.

Hi, I recommand you to try google picasa.

picasa is a Google's photo software. It's what should've come with your camera.

It can Edit , organise and Share you picture and small video clips.

It's very easy to use and is free, just like Google

Download it free in here:
