Every time I ever smoked bud, I had a very high increase of anxiety. But then again, every time I tried Marijuana, I did a whole lot at a time. I have never been smart enough to start off of small doses.

Has anybody experienced great insomnia after smoking or ingesting weed.

I thought that I would be smart and cook a couple bowl fulls in a little water, butter and a small amount of vodka. I took it and drank it straight with chocolate powder mixed into it. 45 minuted after, it all hit at once. I did not sleep the whole night.

I actually ended up in the ER with a bad anxiety attack after smoking pot. If you are prone to anxiety, then I would not suggest smoking pot. It freaked me out to the point I didn't think I was breathing, which only made it worse.

Some people can mellow out on marijuana but I had a friend w/ serious ADHD in high school and when he smoked bud he became 10 times more paranoid.. so I think, like everything else it depends on the person ... the insomnia, not sure ...

I've had problems with anxiety and insomnia off and on and smoking pot makes both worse for me so i stopped doing it a long time ago. i can never sleep after i smoke pot. i feel like the princess and the pea or something. every little wrinkle in the sheets or whatever i'm wearing annoys me and i can never get comfortable and it really makes me freak out.

Stop smoking and eating weed. Pot, although it may seem harmless is a drug and will effect every person differently. I am a recovering drug addict and even though meth was what brought me to my knees, pot is what I still crave 7 years later. The only good thing is that when you eat it you are getting some extra fiber :). Good luck
