I would not hit my kid. That person is not thinking. I said in my Q that I'm talking about a teen-ager. Can you believe suggesting spanking a teen-ager. That's almost obscene!

One of my students went to a wilderness program a few summers ago. I think for him it went well. He was more confident in himself and took more pride in what he did.

before you give up and spend all the money, why don't u try whoopin your kid one good time. or a few good times. don't be a punk parent and give in to your kid. actually, send your kid to me. i'll get him/her in line REAL quick. they would come back and say "yes ma'am" and "yes sir."

someone suggested you hit your kid, PLEASE do not do this.
They did not have wilderness camps when my son was young. I wish they did though. It probably would have been good for him.
