why do many europeans and americans are christian and not muslim?

bcause both christinary and islam(and also judaism)come from middle east.both islam and christinary hav many same values and orders and both jesus and muhammad were from middle east.europe s near middle east also(i know there were no america tht time)..so why europeans accept christinary and dont accept islam.or better say why middle easterns accept islam and not christinary?cause christinary s from middle east too(plz serious answers/no insult)

Islam quickly spread around the world... with in a century islam was on the verge of world power (of its time). And the christans found this as a threat. The first Crusade soon strated ever eince that the europeans kind of hated the muslims and thats why.

Christianity was spread through most of the world by force and was spread by some of the most powerful armies in the world. However, Chrisitan believe that Jesus is the son of god and is also God. So for a christian to convert to Islam they would have to deny pretty much their whole belief system in order to accept Islam.
